Geo Restrictions API

The Geo-Restrictions API within Content API interfaces with Akamai and Global Settings to determine the availability of requested content based on time and space.

This API is designed to handle reader-driven traffic when proxied via your organization’s Akamai and Arc XP Origin configuration. In general, applications should not call these API endpoints directly via the Arc XP API.

However, they can be useful when trying to understand how your configured restrictions will affect the Video Center Player, so documentation is provided here as a reference. This endpoint is subject to your organization’s Content API rate limit when accessing this API through Trident for debugging purposes. You will also need an access token in this context, which are managed within Developer Center.
